Clinically formulated depilatory wax is applied warm, removed gently and is a great alternative to the time consuming task of shaving. Waxing treatments are designed for men and women alike and can be performed on various areas of the body. However, waxing is not recommended for all skin types.
Unfortunately, skin reactions to waxing are unique to each individual and are unforeseen occurrences that are completely unpredictable. Please consult with your esthetician prior to your waxing appointment if you have been using Retin-A, Differin, Accutane or any oral antibiotics in the last 6 months. If you have questions regarding waxing services, please call and ask to speak to an esthetician.

Common side effects include, but are not
limited to, redness and stinging.
Slight irritation is normal after any waxing
appointment.
If you have any medical conditions that
might affect your skin (i.e. diabetes), check
with your health care provider before
waxing.
Consider taking an over the counter
anti-inflammatory (Ibuprofen) one hour
prior to your appointment to help
minimize any redness or inflammation
caused by waxing.
Gently exfoliate your skin before and
after your waxing appointment.
"Numbing" creams are available to help
decrease sensitivity. Ask your health care
provider for more information.
Avoid waxing 3 to 4 days before and
after your menstrual period. You are likely
to experience increased sensitivity or
discomfort during this time.
Refrain from shaving for at least 3 to 4
weeks prior to your waxing appointment.
Caffeine increases skin sensitivities. We
recommend avoiding caffeine the day of
your waxing appointment.
